Stephen was diagnosed with an L4/5 disc bulge/herniation and going through the medical processes which was heading towards having a nerve root block (injection) and possible surgery (discectomy).
We’d love to introduce you to Stephen, a 65-year-old painter and decorator who came to us with left-sided severe leg pain and unable to work.
Our approach to this is simple… decompress the nerve using a form of Lateral Traction and combine that with high powered Laser Therapy which reduces inflammation in the nerve and heals the disc. It’s a severe structural condition so doesn’t heal overnight but one month later, after eight laser treatments, he is pain-free and back at work!
